SYCOPHANT: a short film about chatgpt

SYCOPHANT follows Emily and her relationship with ChatGPT as she consults it for advice on her friendship issues. We explored themes such as the differentiation between mere anthropomorphic illusion and genuine human social connection, and wanted to underscore how ChatGPT's sycophancy-- or overt agreeableness-- can lead to a constant affirmation of ourselves, even when we're in the wrong.
